What they mean together
The last two cards of the tarot. Judgement is the wake-up call and The World is the goal reached. It's an ending that makes sense, the kind where you feel you're exactly where you were meant to be.
In love
A relationship that moves to the next level, or reconnecting with someone important at just the right time.
Career and money
You find your calling, or close a chapter knowing you did it well.
An example
Suppose you ask whether you should finally devote yourself to what has always called to you, and Judgement and The World come out. The answer is a firm yes. That call is real and you're ready to answer it. Judgement is waking up and recognizing who you are, and The World is arriving where you were meant to be. Far from a whim, this is the result of many years on the road. Take the step calmly, because it makes sense. And if doubts creep in, look back at everything you've done to get here.
By position in the spread
In the past
You closed something important and made peace with your story. That gave you a firmer sense of who you are.
In the present
You're at a point of culmination and awakening. Listen to what this moment is asking of you, and answer.
In the future
A long cycle will close in a way that makes sense. What you're doing now is preparing you for that day.
If they come up reversed
With Judgement reversed, you doubt your calling or judge yourself too harshly. With The World reversed, the ending resists and it's hard to move on to the next thing. If both are reversed, the goal is still there, but you'll need to drop some old demands on yourself to reach it. Look at what you've already done and admit it's good work.
Answer the call and accept what you've achieved.
